Note: If you have a Lee County garbage bill, it must be paid in full before a tag can be issued.

Renewing Your Tag

If your tag expires this month or within 15 days into the next month, you can renew online:

From an Out of State Dealer

Bill of Sale
Odometer Statement
State-issued ID
Sales tax payment (if applicable)
Any other supporting documents

Moved to Mississippi from Another State?

You and any co-owner must visit our office in person. Please bring:

Title (if paid off and no lien)
Lienholder name and address (if applicable)
Mileage
State-issued ID
Out-of-state registration
Out-of-state license plate
One proof of residency (lease, deed, or utility bill)

Purchased a Vehicle from an Individual?

You and any co-owner must come in person with:

State-issued ID
One proof of residency (lease, deed, or utility bill)
